How much Atlético Madrid would demand from Barcelona for Julián Alvarez | OneFootball

An insight into the kind of sum likely to be demanded by those in the boardroom at Atlético Madrid to allow Julián Alvarez to join La Liga rivals Barcelona has been forthcoming online.

The name of frontman Alvarez has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines across Spain on Monday evening.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the Argentine’s explosive recent form has not gone unappreciated at Barcelona.

Amid an ongoing search for a long-term replacement for the aging Robert Lewandowski, Deco and co. have earmarked Alvarez as the ideal profile.

In fact, according to Diario Sport:

‘FC Barcelona is clear that Julián Álvarez is their number 1 target for the next summer market.’

Safe to say, however, that if Barcelona are serious about striking a deal for the former Manchester City man, they will need to pay up.

This comes amid further confirmation that Atlético are expected to demand a sum of around €200 million to part with Alvarez.
