Palmeiras are set to bank about 4.1 million euros from Jhon Jhon’s move to Zenit in Russia after keeping a stake in the midfielder’s rights. The deal was agreed at 18.5 million euros fixed, potentially rising to 20 million euros with bonuses.

According to Globo.com, the Alviverde are entitled to 20% of the total fee, plus 1.59% via FIFA’s solidarity mechanism, from which Bragantino and Primavera also benefit.

On the fixed sum, that equates to 4.1 million euros, including 294,000 euros from the solidarity share, roughly R$ 25.4 million at today’s rate. If bonuses are met, Palmeiras would receive about 4.3 million euros, or R$ 26.9 million.

Those amounts come on top of what the club earned when selling Jhon Jhon to Bragantino last July, a deal worth around 4.5 million dollars fixed for 60% of his rights.

Jhon Jhon came through Londrina and Primavera before breaking through at Palmeiras in 2022, shortly after joining the under-20s.

His best spell for the first team came in 2023, when he played 31 matches and provided two assists, having recorded 19 goals and nine assists at youth level.

Abel Ferreira often praised him and used him when only Veiga was available in the role, which prompted Palmeiras to reject an initial Bragantino approach, but the arrivals of Felipe Anderson and Maurício reduced his opportunities.

At Bragantino he flourished after a positional shift, becoming more attack-minded and delivering 20 goals and 14 assists since 2024, most of them in 2025.
