"I hope I'll get my chance in the Bundesliga" - Bayern's rising star Lennart Karl | OneFootball

In the aftermath of Bayern Munich's 2-1 win over Grasshopper Zürich, Lennart Karl reflected on the club's final friendly fixture.

“We played a good game with a lot of youngsters on the pitch. I was able to do my work and score a goal.

"I'm playing and training with some of the best players in the world, the level and intensity are very high.

"I want to keep showing my quality and hope I'll get my chance in the Bundesliga. I'll keep working hard and hope it works out,” he added.

Meanwhile, a more experienced name in the form of Konrad Laimer spoke highly about the youngster and the squads performances of late.

“We had a short preparation so every game and every win are important. We're trying to get everything we can so we're ready for Saturday.

"It's about getting the fitness up and integrating the new players so they get used to how we want to play football.

"We're having a better pre-season than last year because we already have a better idea on how we want to play”

“They [the young players] have to be fired up with every minute they get wearing the Bayern shirt. They did just that.

"I'm really pleased they had some good moments and hopefully we'll see that more often in the coming season,” Laimer said.
