Jude Bellingham has been hailed as an “absolute star” after his latest goal for England in the World Cup 2026.
Bellingham struck in the second minute of stoppage time in the first half to bring England level after Andreas Schjelderup’s opener for Norway in Miami.
And after Gary Neville described the Real Madrid midfielder as “an absolute star,” following his powerful run and finish for Thomas Tuchel’s side, Ian Wright heaped praise on a key part of the goal.
“It's the touch, the defender is worried about the touch, but that touch there, it's keeping the ball away to get the shot off,” Wright said on ITV Sport’s coverage.
While Neville added: “Jude you are an absolute star, this pass from Gordon, you're in business.”
Roy Keane was also impressed with Bellingham, who moves up the rankings in the race for the Golden Boot.

“He's in control of everything,” Keane added. “His right foot, finish with his left, I can be critical of Norway's defenders but it's a fantastic finish.”
England assistant manager Anthony Barry reacted to the first half: “I feel like the environment and climate impacted the first 25 minutes, I thought we had total control and dominance.
“After the water break, we invited Norway into the counter-attacks, they had the Haaland warning chance, then an undeserved wonder shot, I feel like the Bellingham goal released the stadium and our lads.”
