Ibrahim Mbaye became the youngest African World Cup goalscorer, netting late as Senegal were beaten 1-3 by France.

According to L'Équipe, the PSG winger did so at 18 years and 143 days.

Introduced in the 75th minute, he drove inside, beat Théo Hernandez one-on-one and powered past Mike Maignan in the fifth minute of added time to register his first World Cup goal.
