Injury updates provided on two Real Madrid stars after Getafe | OneFootball

Updates on the wellbeing of two Real Madrid stars have come to the fore online, in the aftermath of the club’s latest outing.

The pair in question? David Alaba, and Thibaut Courtois.

Both defender Alaba and goalkeeper Courtois set alarm bells sounding in Spain’s capital on Sunday evening.

In the case of the former, as much came after the Austrian was hauled off at half-time in Real Madrid’s victory over Getafe.

Courtois, meanwhile, was spotted looking in discomfort during the closing moments of the action at the Estadio Coliseum.

Ahead of next weekend’s El Clásico showdown between Real and arch rivals Barcelona, the status of both players, in turn, was all of a sudden thrown up in the air.

All of a Blancos persuasion will therefore no doubt be interested to learn of updates on the wellbeing of the pair coming to the fore.

As per a report from Carrusel Deportivo:

‘Thibaut Courtois only has a blow and will be able to play the Clásico.

‘David Alaba has a calf strain: this Monday he will undergo medical tests.’
