Neymar has a R$ one million ally at Santos, a hyperbaric chamber at CT Rei Pelé. He is using it as he targets the physical peak Carlo Ancelotti demands and a place at the World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
According to Globo.com, Santos installed two hyperbaric units at the training complex last year to speed up recovery across the squad.
This week he shared images of his therapy. The sessions are designed to accelerate muscle recovery, useful in a crowded schedule.
After playing 90 minutes in Sunday’s match against Corinthians, he is expected to start again on Wednesday at 21:30 Brasília time against Internacional in the Brasileirão.
The chamber has helped reduce inflammation from recent days and restore functional capacity, important with the short turnaround between fixtures.
Inside Santos, having two hyperbaric chambers is seen as strategic rather than a luxury. The high-value equipment helps cut time out injured and keep players as close to 100% as possible each round. For Neymar, it is another tool in a short race for a World Cup place.
