Looking to end their unenviable run of three consecutive defeats in all competitions, Inter Miami host the New York Red Bulls at Chase Stadium on Saturday in one of the key games of the 11th round of Major League Soccer this weekend.

Javier Mascherano's men were humiliated 5-1 on aggregate by the Vancouver Whitecaps in the semi-final of the Concacaf Champions League and ended up with a vexatious exit that even Lionel Messi couldn't prevent. The former Argentinian international is on a losing streak and is looking to avoid another setback this season.
Inter Miami haven't lost two consecutive games in the MLS regular season since October 2023, making an immediate reaction necessary. Even with a game in hand on the top eight, Mascheranno's side find themselves four places behind Cincinnati in the Eastern Conference.
The only positive news in the vexatious midweek elimination was the fact that Inter Miami didn't suffer from any new injuries during the game. The only confirmed casualties in the line-up are David Ruiz and Baltasar Rodríguez, both suffering from thigh problems.

Meanwhile, the NY Red Bulls remain unstable on 15 points, just one behind Orlando City (currently in seventh place) after the first ten rounds. Sando Schwarz's side are trying to secure their place in the Wild Card round, but have been unable to replicate the regularity they showed in the early rounds.
Considering that all four of their MLS wins in 2025 have come at home, the NY Red Bulls have plenty to worry about even against a shaky Inter MIami. Their last away win came in October 2024, when they beat Toronto 4-1.
Unlike their rivals, NY Red Bulls have several injury absentees, with Daniel Edelman and Dylan Nealis sidelined with thigh problems, Roald Mitchell and Lewis Morgan out with knee injuries and Marcelo Morales missing out with a thigh problem.
