Inter Milan express interest in AS Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche | OneFootball

It was expected that Maghnes Akliouche (23) would leave AS Monaco this summer, however, with clubs unable to meet the Principality club’s valuation of the player, the chances of him remaining have gradually increased.

However, L’Équipe now understands that a new suitor has been added to the mix, just three weeks before the closure of the window. Monaco played Inter Milan in their final pre-season friendly before the 2025/26 Ligue 1 season on Friday. Akliouche scored in that match and post-match, the Serie A side announced to their Monégasque counterparts their willingness to do a deal.

L’Équipe understands that another major European side are also in the reckoning to sign the France youth international. The Principality club’s €70m price-tag, which has stood since the start of the summer, may prove a stumbling block. However, L’Équipe understands that a departure is once again likely for Akliouche, as the return of Ligue 1 football nears.
