During his pre-game chat with Prime, as reported by FCInterNews, the former Sion star addressed several topics, including his return to Switzerland.

After taking four points from the opening two UEFA Champions League rounds, Inter will seek a win at the Wankdorf Stadium.

Simone Inzaghi’s men have excelled at Europe’s top table thus far this season.

Indeed, a scoreless draw at Manchester City on matchday one affirmed the Nerazzurri’s continental credentials.

Subsequently, the reigning Scudetto holders strolled to a remarkable 4-0 triumph against Red Star Belgrade at home.

Back on the road after a free-scoring performance at Giuseppe Meazza, they’re clear-cut favorites to post another win.

However, Dimarco will not be in the starting line-up.

Carlos Augusto will take his place as Simone Inzaghi looks to give his overused first-team stars a much-needed rest.

As a result, several other regulars will start on the bench, including Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

Inter Milan Wingback Federico Dimarco Concerned About Young Boys Synthetic Turf

“We know it’s a tough match on a difficult pitch,” Dimarco warned his teammates.

“We take it one game at a time; after Roma, there’s Young Boys. Then we’ll think about Juve.”

The highly-rated wingback admitted Inter had problems adjusting to a synthetic pitch during yesterday’s training.

“We try to adapt to every field, but yesterday wasn’t easy. Today we have the game, and we’ll try to do our best.”

Dimarco briefly left Inter for a lackluster season-long stint at Sion.

After six years, he returns to Switzerland as a senior star.

“It’s been a long time since I was here, and it wasn’t one of the best periods of my career.

“Time has passed, now I’m with Inter, and we hope to play a good match.”
