Inter Milan are closely monitoring the rapid rise of Aleksandar Stankovic, the 20-year-old midfielder who left the club for Club Brugge in the summer and has since gone from promising academy graduate to full Serbian international, with Premier League sides Spurs and Newcastle interested in his signature.

Stankovic has become a regular starter in Belgium with Brugge and impressed in the Champions League.

Indeed, his composure and maturity have caught the attention of major European clubs.

According to Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, both Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have sent scouts to watch him in recent weeks.

Furthermore, the Premier League sides are now keeping his name on their shortlist.

Inter, however, remain firmly in the picture.

After selling Stankovic to Brugge for around €9.5 million, the Nerazzurri inserted a double buy-back clause.

One for €23 million in summer 2026 and another for €25 million in 2027.

If his development continues at this pace, a return “home” to Appiano Gentile may only be a matter of time.
