A commanding, composed, and high-quality performance from Inter Women as they ran out 3-0 winners over Fiorentina at the Arena Civica in matchday 13 in Serie A Women. The Nerazzurre dominated from start to finish, opening the scoring in the first half through Magull before pulling further clear in the second half with goals from Bugeja and Polli, showcasing their solidity, intensity, and excellent team spirit.

Inter started strongly, putting the Viola defence under pressure from the first whistle. Schough tested Fiskerstrand in the third minute, while Magull then came close with an acrobatic volley that was saved by the Viola goalkeeper. Inter kept up the pressure, but were nearly caught out in the 71st minute when Bonfantini rose well to head at goal, only for Rúnarsdottir to produce an excellent save.

The third goal arrived in the 77th minute as Polli slid in to finish off Wullaert’s cross and put the game to bed. Inter could have added a fourth in the closing stages: Wullaert came close with a curling effort (84’), before the referee awarded a penalty for a handball following a FVS review. Wullaert stepped up but sent it wide, and the score remained unchanged. After five minutes of added time, the referee blew the final whistle.
