Tijjani Reijnders added his name to the scoresheet as the Netherlands brushed past Malta in a convincing 4-0 victory.
In the World Cup Qualifier game against Malta at the Ta'Qali National Stadium, the City midfielder slotted home a simple finish on 57 minutes to record the third goal for the Netherlands.
Henry Bonello's pass out was intercepted by Liverpool's Cody Gakpo, who squared the ball to Reijnders to help his national side move three points clear of Poland in Group G.
Nathan Ake was an unused substitute for the Oranje.
Elsewhere John Stones started in Thomas Tuchel's squad that faced Wales as the Three Lions cruised to a 3-0 victory in their friendly against Wales.
First-half goals all scored inside 20 minutes from Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins and Bukayo Saka were the difference and Stones helped to keep a clean sheet before he was replaced by Myles-Lewis Skelly on 80 minutes.
Nico O'Reilly and James Trafford were both also named on the bench for England.
Josko Gvardiol featured for the full 90 minutes for Croatia as they played out a 0-0 draw against the Czech Republic at the Fortuna Arena, while Mateo Kovacic starred on the sidelines.
