Newly promoted Ipswich Town are seeking a successor to Kieran McKenna and are said to have made Strasbourg coach Gary O'Neil their priority.
According to the BBC, O'Neil has been cited among options. Ipswich had previously approached him while he was a Sky pundit.
Ipswich have announced McKenna's surprise departure. The 40-year-old had been in charge since 2021 and delivered three promotions in the last four seasons.
O'Neil, 43, arrived in Alsace in January and is under contract until 2028, with an extra year option.
With Racing, he reached the Europa Conference League semi-finals and the Coupe de France semi-finals. His side also posted the fifth-best tally in the second half of the Ligue 1 season, 29 points.
