Inter Milan prodigy Francesco Pio Esposito seems primed to take Serie A by storm in his first senior season at San Siro.
According to Fabio Caressa via FCInterNews, the 20-year-old must stay calm as he seeks his seasonal breakthrough.
Following a sterling breakout season at Spezia, Francesco Pio Esposito returned to Inter this summer.
Indeed, Cristian Chivu specifically requested the teenager’s comeback.
Furthermore, the new manager convinced the Nerazzurri chiefs to turn down several lucrative offers for the young striker.
Therefore, Inter declined Napoli’s €40 million bid, among others.
And it looks like Chivu had a good reason to trust Esposito to handle the pressure of playing in Serie A.
Despite his young age, the Italian center-forward has been brilliant in the early season.
Though Esposito has yet to score, his overall performance has earned him broad plaudits.
Meanwhile, Caressa has urged the Inter starlet to keep his feet firmly on the ground and continue to work hard.

Carlos Augusto did some superb stuff against Sassuolo, earning applause from Caressa.
“He played a great game,” Caressa said. “Moreover, he can perform very well in two positions and has shown himself to be a player of quality.
“He offers a valid alternative for Cristian Chivu.”
However, Inter’s early showings have left Caressa unimpressed.
“The team still doesn’t grab my attention,” he added. “I haven’t seen them at their best moments.
“But I understand that Chivu is trying to work intelligently with the past to carry it into the future with great care.
“The results in recent matches have been there, especially by taking advantage of set pieces in the Champions League.”
Finally, he praised Esposito.
“I really like him,” Caressa said. “I’m happy that an Italian youngster has this kind of space. But slowly, because that’s how we are.
“If he had scored with a bicycle kick, we’d be talking about the new Robert Lewandowski.
“But slowly; he’s young, he’s being integrated, and it’s important.
“He’s responding well, but let’s not put pressure on him.
“Players need to grow calmly; he can handle pressure and has shown it, but let’s enjoy him quietly and see what he can do.”
