Jack Grealish likely to need surgery, could miss rest of season

Jack Grealish will probably miss the rest of the season because of injury, Everton manager David Moyes said on Friday. The forward is on loan from Manchester City.

According to L'Équipe, Moyes added that they think Grealish will probably require surgery, although that has not yet been fully confirmed.

The 30-year-old suffered a stress fracture in his foot during a league match against Aston Villa on 18 January and has not played since.

He had rediscovered form at Everton early this season after limited minutes last term at Manchester City. The England international has 39 caps, the most recent in 2024.

Grealish had hoped to push his case before the 2026 World Cup, a target that now appears further away because of the setback.
