The immediate futures of several Manchester United wonderkids are expected to change in the January window.
The Red Devils have already recalled several of their academy graduates from their loan spells, with a view to sending them to new clubs.
And a few have attracted interest from higher up the EFL ladder, like Harry Amass and now, Jack Moorhouse.
The midfield wonderkid has made 22 appearances in all competitions for the League One side, starting 13 of them, while scoring once and providing a couple of assists.
He has shown flashes of his undoubted quality, impressing with his ball-carrying, one of his strongest suits, while playing all across the midfield.
And the 20-time English league champions feel a step up the ladder would serve him well.
As per The Guardian, promotion-chasing League One side, Bolton, and Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are all eager to sign the 20-year-old on loan.
“Manchester United tyro Jack Moorhouse, currently on loan at Leyton Orient, is attracting interest from the Championship side Sheffield Wednesday and League One Bolton.
“The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international could be convinced to cut his spell in east London short in order to try something new.”
The Owls, who have already lost Amass, are now eyeing another Carrington graduate, while The Trotters feel Jack Moorhouse is just the player they need to push to qualify for the playoffs.
It will be interesting to see which team manages to convince the midfielder, who had impressed Ruben Amorim last season.
A solid second-half of the campaign could open up the chance to make the pre-season squad ahead of next season.
