Luton Town are looking to bolster Jack Wilshere's squad this January
Luton Town are keen on the signing of Kasey Palmer from Hull City this January.
According to Alan Nixon, the Hatters are interested in reinforcing their midfield options, as they look to compete for promotion straight back to the Championship.
The Hatters have already added Emilio Lawrence to their first team squad this month, with the winger arriving on loan from Manchester City for the second half of the campaign.
This is Jack Wilshere’s first opportunity to bolster his squad after arriving as manager in October in place of Matt Bloomfield.
The Jamaica international has featured just nine times for Hull so far this league season, with the Yorkshire outfit competing for promotion themselves under Sergej Jakirovic.

Luton are hoping to secure a loan move for Palmer for the rest of the League One season, with their eyes set on promotion.
The Hatters are keen on the midfielder, and are willing to include an option to buy clause as part of any possible loan agreement.
The 29-year-old’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2027, having joined the Tigers on a three-year deal from Coventry City in August 2024.
His last appearance for the club came on 1 January in a 1-0 loss to Stoke City, and his lack of consistent game time has led to some speculation over his immediate future.
The winter market is open until 2 February, giving Luton just two weeks to finalise any potential deal for Palmer.
It remains to be seen whether he is willing to take the step down from the Championship, with Luton currently seventh in the League One table.
The gap to the play-offs is not even a point, with only an inferior goal difference separating Wilshere’s side from sixth place Huddersfield, while also holding a game in hand.
Next up for Luton is a trip to face Plymouth Argyle on 24 January in a 12.30pm kick-off.

Palmer is an experienced Championship midfielder, and he could bring a lot to Wilshere’s side for the second half of the campaign.
And if he plays a key role in helping the club gain promotion, then it would be a no-brainer to look to keep him in the summer.
Given he is into the last 18 months of his contract, and the 29-year-old isn’t playing with any real frequency, this might be a move that suits all parties.
While Palmer could potentially still play elsewhere in the second tier, the guarantee of regular minutes at Kenilworth Road might be appealing at this stage of his career.
