João Araújo says Rafa ‘to finish career’ at Benfica if conditions are right

"Under normal conditions it will be at Benfica that he will finish his career," said João Araújo, Rafa’s agent and Onsoccer CEO, speaking to MaisFutebol.

"We do not know what tomorrow brings and there are always possibilities open. When we signed for Besiktas, we did not know that a year and a half later we would be back at Benfica."

"But, under normal conditions, Rafa wants to end his career very well and with titles. And if that happens at Benfica it will be excellent."

"They wanted Rafa to sign a document in which he would have to pay 15 million euros to Besiktas."

"In Portugal he only considered playing for Benfica."

This season Rafa Silva has played 16 competitive matches for Besiktas, scoring five and assisting three. Since returning to Benfica he has featured in two games, 45 minutes in total, without a goal or assist.
