Joao Cancelo’s presentation at Camp Nou was put on hold due to a late exchange of documents, with a club spokesperson saying the announcement was premature, the delay should be brief and the signing is not under threat.
The Brazilian full-back was scheduled to sign his contract at 13:00 then address the media at 13:30.

He arrived slightly after the agreed time, and around an hour after the call the event was halted.
The pause will remain while last minute paperwork is exchanged and the player finalises his contract.
