João Félix has made a permanent switch from Chelsea to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, where he’ll team up with international teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

The transfer fee is believed to be in the region of €30 million (£26.2m), though it could rise to €50 million depending on how Félix performs over time.

The move came together quickly, with Al Nassr managing to fend off interest from Benfica and agree terms with both Chelsea and the player over the course of a busy weekend.

Félix joined Chelsea from Atlético Madrid last summer and scored seven goals in 20 appearances for the Blues in all competitions, before being loaned out to AC Milan in January.

During his time in Italy, the Portuguese forward made 21 appearances, scoring three times and assisting once. Milan finished eighth in Serie A and were knocked out of the Champions League play-offs by Feyenoord.

This transfer marks another step in Chelsea’s ongoing effort to reshape their squad as the Blues have parted ways with several players this window, including goalkeepers Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga, as well as winger Noni Madueke, as part of broader financial strategy efforts.
