Former Chelsea winger Joe Cole believes that Chelsea’s players are frustrated and could soon look to leave the club.
To be honest, I fully agree with him as well. It’s not feeling good out there right now and the body language of the players says a lot to me. They’re annoyed, I’m not sure that they’re fully having Liam Rosenior as the head coach right now either, and I think many of them are sick and tired of not actually moving forward under this ownership seeing as they have now been here for the last four years with no sign of any real sustained success coming.

Cole is concerned that players like Cole Palmer can go and play in any team in the world, a team who are actually challenging at the very top on all fronts, and I also have those concerns.

In quotes picked up by SPTC today, Cole said:
‘They’re [Chelsea’s players] frustrated. And you get into that position now, where the best players are going to start going,’ Joe Cole said this week.
‘If you’re Cole Palmer you’re thinking, I could go and play anywhere in the world. Like, what’s happening here? Do you know what I mean?’
Unfortunately right now, things are moving quickly in a Graham Potter direction under Liam Rosenior, with the new coach struggling to find a way to turn things around.
Meanwhile, whilst I stay very sceptical on this one, Sky Sports have continued to push the story that Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez is not untouchable at Chelsea this summer.
