Jorginho voted best 2025 Série A signing, Vitor Roque runner-up | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Jorginho’s Flamengo signing was voted the best among Série A clubs in 2025, winning by a wide margin.

The poll drew 10,343 votes, of which 3,899 went to the midfielder, a 37.68% share, ahead of 14 other shortlisted signings.

After losing Gerson, Flamengo turned to Europe for a major addition, and the Italo-Brazilian quickly became a starter in a team that won the Brazilian league and the Libertadores. He also impressed from the spot, scoring decisive penalties in key moments.

He finished with 35 appearances, five goals and three assists.

Vitor Roque of Palmeiras placed second with 1,202 votes, 11.62%. The most expensive signing in Brazilian football at R$ 154 million, he formed a potent partnership with Flaco Lopez and scored 20 goals, earning a Brazil recall.

Fabrício Bruno of Cruzeiro was third with 1,078 votes, 10.42%. The 29-year-old led a side that finished third in the league and was rewarded with Brazil call-ups, including a start under Carlo Ancelotti.
