Real Madrid saw the talent and quality of Michael Olise first-hand this week as the Bayern Munich winger lit up the Santiago Bernabeu, helping his team to a 2-1 win.
The 24-year-old French international was easily the standout player on the night as Los Blancos suffered a setback in their bid to progress to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
Now, according to German journalist Christian Falk, Real Madrid are likely to intensify efforts to sign Olise in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Merengues are one of the top European clubs monitoring the former Crystal Palace attacker, along with Premier League champions Liverpool.
Now, having experienced what he can bring to the table, Florentino Perez & co. are expected to step up their pursuit of the rising star.

Olise has been enjoying a dream season at Bayern Munich this term. So far in 2025/26, the 24-year-old has already racked up 16 goals and 29 assists from 41 games in all competitions.
As per the report, Real Madrid president Perez is keen on acquiring Olise’s services and the club’s resolve has only further strengthened after his magical performance at the Bernabeu, where he tore apart Alvaro Carreras and assisted Harry Kane’s goal.
The report states that Los Blancos are weighing up an offer of around €160-165 million for the attacking sensation.
However, as far as Bayern Munich are concerned, Olise is simply not for sale. The Bundesliga champions have the winger tied down to a long-term contract until 2029 with no release clause.
And, the Bavarians’ director, Max Eberl, has made it clear that they have no intention of parting ways with the French international even if offers worth €100-200 million come along in the summer.
Instead, Bayern Munich’s plan is to offer Olise a new contract and further strengthen their grip over his future at the Allianz Arena.
