Juventus detail €17.4m windfall from Leeds’ reported £34.1m Tarik Muharemovic transfer | OneFootball

Juventus have set out the amount they will receive from Leeds United’s reported £34.1m move for Tarik Muharemovic, the second-biggest signing in the club’s history.

Juventus said in a statement that, after the permanent transfer was completed on 16 July 2026, they are due a sell-on fee under their August 2024 agreement with Sassuolo. The club added the transaction will positively impact the current financial year by about €17.4m, net of ancillary charges.

Leeds confirmed last week that the Bosnia & Herzegovina international has signed a five-year deal after being identified as Pascal Struijk’s replacement. Sassuolo must pass on a significant portion of the fee to Juventus.

The fee places Muharemovic behind Georginio Rutter as Leeds’ second-most expensive recruit, after Rutter arrived from Hoffenheim in 2023. Rutter was sold to Brighton a season and a half later, with Struijk also departing earlier this summer.

Muharemovic featured three times for his country at the World Cup. He made 63 appearances across two seasons at Sassuolo, initially on loan then permanently, helping them win promotion from Serie B and then stay up last term.
