Juventus dominate a combined XI with Lazio ahead of Sunday’s clash, although three Biancocelesti make it. According to The Laziali, the side lines up in a four-three-three and reflects the contrasting squad profiles.
Ivan Provedel gets the gloves after 11 clean sheets in 23. The back four is Pierre Kalulu, Gleison Bremer, Alessio Romagnoli and Andrea Cambiaso. Kalulu edges Adam Marusic, while Romagnoli is preferred after consistent influence, with Lloyd Kelly missing out.
Manuel Locatelli anchors midfield, with Nicolo Rovella sidelined since the start of the season. Weston McKennie takes the right central role, a spot that could have featured Matteo Guendouzi had he been available. Khephren Thuram completes the trio ahead of Kenneth Taylor.
Francisco Conceicao is selected on the right, though his fitness for Sunday remains in doubt. Kenan Yildiz leads the line and, with nine goals, is the leading scorer across the two squads. Mattia Zaccagni takes the left berth but will miss the match through injury.
Both clubs have stuttered for a reliable centre-forward, though Jonathan David has shown signs of improvement. Juventus, no longer laden with superstar names, still boast a costly squad, while Lazio have leaned on lesser-known arrivals. The Lazio selections are Provedel, Romagnoli and Zaccagni.
