The second international break of the season hasn’t been kind to a few teams, but the most serious injuries have involved players who had stayed put. Gleison Bremer, who had missed two matches due to left knee soreness, has been diagnosed with a partially torn meniscus. He will soon undergo keyhole surgery to remove it. He’ll be sidelined for at least a month, but likely more, Sky reported. It’s the same joint where he sustained an ACL tear last year.

Taty Castellanos suffered a severe thigh strain in training. He is expected to be out for six to eight weeks, Mediaset relayed. Lazio are also currently without Matteo Zaccagni and Nicolò Rovella due to muscular problems. Boulaye Dia will be a late call for the next round after tweaking his ankle in the most recent bout.

Alexis Saelemaekers picked up a flexor lesion during his time with Belgium and will miss at least a couple of games, Tuttomercatoweb relayed. Pervis Estupinan, Rafael Leao, Adrien Rabiot, and Christian Pulisic are all dealing with minor injuries. However, only the first one is at risk for the upcoming Fiorentina match. Massimiliano Allegri is evaluating switching from 3-5-2 to 4-3-3 to make up for the absences.

Moise Kean had to leave the Italy setup early after twisting his ankle against Estonia. The tests ruled out substantial damage, but he’s doubtful for the clash with Milan on Sunday, Repubblica informs.
