The Old Lady fans delivered a standing ovation to their side at the end of the tie. Captain Manuel Locatelli, who was massive on the pitch, spoke to Prime Video and said the result makes him emotional.

He said – relayed by Di Marzio: It makes me want to cry. We gave our heart and soul, and these games will stay with us forever. I want to thank the fans and my teammates. I carry everything within me, and this must give us energy for the future. We gave everything we had, our heart and soul. With the coach, we’ve rediscovered our confidence.”

The Italian said that Juve now want to turn things around in the next game in Serie A against Roma.

“Today, we can only congratulate ourselves. Mistakes can happen, but how we react is what matters, and now we have to do it immediately against Roma.”
