Robert Lewandowski’s future at FC Barcelona remains one of the most uncertain at the club. With his contract set to expire at the end of this season and the striker now 37 years old, it is increasingly likely that he could be playing for another team next season.

This uncertainty has already attracted interest from several clubs across Europe and beyond. Most recently, according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, a Juventus representative was present to watch Lewandowski in action as Poland defeated Albania 2-1 in a World Cup playoff match.

The Old Lady is looking to bolster their side next summer and is looking to pair the Pole with Dusan Vlahovic to spearhead their attack. The Italians have already seemingly lost faith in Jonathan David and Louis Openda, their two marquee arrivals from last summer. Meanwhile, they are also linked with Randall Kolo Muani.

Lewandowski has kept all options open regarding his future. He reiterated this week, upon joining the Polish national team, that no final decision has been made.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently expressed support for his continuity, highlighting the striker’s efforts to join the Blaugranes from Bayern Munich in 2022. Even in a season where he has not been the undisputed starting center forward, Lewandowski has scored 16 goals so far.

Interest in the striker has extended beyond Italy. For months, clubs from Major League Soccer and the Saudi Pro League have been linked with him, while AC Milan recently became the first Serie A club to show serious interest. Juventus now joins the list of potential suitors, making the upcoming summer transfer window particularly intriguing for the Polish international.
