Kaio César says he expected the pressure at Corinthians and insists the squad remains united after organised fans confronted players at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava.

According to Meu Timao, leaders of the organised groups visited the facility on Friday after a 2-0 defeat to Coritiba at Neo Química Arena left the team on a five-match winless run.

Goalkeeper Hugo Souza, defenders André Ramalho and Gustavo Henrique, left-back Matheus Bidu, midfielder Raniele, executive Marcelo Paz and president Osmar Stabile acknowledged performances were below expectations and promised improvement. Bidu apologised for previously saying fans should not forget recent titles, and Rodrigo Garro and Memphis Depay accepted their own levels were short of what is expected.

Speaking in the mixed zone after the 1-1 draw with Santos at Vila Belmiro on Sunday, the 22-year-old said he joined knowing the size of the club and the pressure that comes with it. He viewed the demands as part of football and emphasised the need to stay focused and united, working to turn things around.

Corinthians showed a different approach and could have taken all three points but for at least three excellent saves by Gabriel Brazão. Despite the draw, they remain without a win.

They travel to face Chapecoense at Arena Condá on Thursday at 21:30, in round seven of the Brasileirão, seeking to halt the run.
