One of the Reds' key figures has now been confirmed to have joined Chelsea.
Rival clubs have a history of convincing significant figures in Liverpool's hierarchy to leave.
Just earlier this week, it was reported that Everton are hoping to pry away Alex Inglethorpe - the Reds' Academy Director. The 53-year-old has been with us since 2021, gradually making his way into more senior positions after excelling in his area of expertise - overseeing the youth operations.
During that same week, Liverpool confirmed that another major departure had been formally agreed.
Dave Fallows was the Reds' director of scouting and recruitment, utilising a data-driven approach to assist the club in identifying new targets and overall strategies. He'd been at the club for twelve years, assisting Brendan Rodgers, Jurgen Klopp and Arne Slot in achieving their major successes.

Upon stepping down from his position, he said: "I have been privileged to work for this incredible football club. The leadership here, from ownership, through to Michael [Edwards], Richard [Hughes], Arne [Slot], Billy [Hogan] and Alex [Inglethorpe], is world-class."
It's presumed that Fallows was looking for a new project to get his teeth into, and just a week later, it's now been confirmed that he's joined Chelsea and the BlueCo consortium run by Todd Boehly.
