Key talking points from Juventus’ pulsating 4-3 win over Inter | OneFootball

Serie A served up a true classic in Turin on Saturday, as Juventus beat Inter 4-3 in what was a chaotic game of calcio.

The tie had some intriguing plot-lines, stunning goals and the incredible stoppage time winner from Vasilije Adzic.

With that in mind, we look at some key talking points from the game.

Sommer past it?

Yann Sommer was arguably at fault foor at least two Juventus goals and there is a growing feeling that he is now slowly losing his spark. Was this game another reminder of that and will Cristian Chivu make some changes?

Yildiz the early MVP candidate

Kenan Yildiz sparkled throughout the game and scored a stunner long-range goal in the first half. It was a fitting performance, as the Turk was handed the Player of the Month award before the game and everything shows that this could be his season.

Where does Chivu go from here?

Inter have now lost two games in a row and this was rare under Simone Inzaghi. Chivu’s side did show multiple glimpses of magic and it could well prove to be a blip, but it is easy to see some Inter fans looking at the fans with some concern.

More chances for Adzic?

There was surprise when Adzic came on in the second half, especially with Jonathan David and Joao Mario on the bench. The youngster proved doubters wrong with the goal but it is clear that Igor Tudor trusts him a lot, as he was seen barking instructions at him constantly during the tie. Will the goal lead to Adzic getting more opportunities?
