Real Sociedad have confirmed that Kubo has suffered a hamstring injury and will miss upcoming matches.
The club said in a statement that tests showed an injury to the hamstring muscle group in his left leg, adding that his progress will dictate availability.

Kubo pulled up in the 68th minute of the matchday 20 LaLiga EA Sports win over Barcelona, with the score at 1-0. He was unable to leave the pitch unaided and was taken off on a stretcher.
He will be absent for Sunday’s game against Celta and the Basque derby with Athletic at San Mamés.
He also does not appear likely to make the Alavés quarter-final at Mendizorroza, scheduled for 21:00.
