Athletic Club and Spain winger Nico Williams seems to be getting closer and closer to signing for FC Barcelona this summer.
The 22-year-old attacker has already reached an agreement with the Blaugrana over a six-year contract until 2031, with net wages of around €7-8 million.
As reported earlier, the Spanish international informed Athletic Club today that he wants to join Barcelona this summer.
The La Liga champions, for their part, are preparing to pay his release clause amount early in July so that he can start pre-season under Hansi Flick.
Now, according to a fresh update from journalist Nico Rodriguez, Williams is now preparing a farewell video for Athletic Club and his fans.
Indeed, the UEFA Euro 2024 winner is already working on the video with his media department, suggesting that a transfer is very much on the horizon.

Athletic Club fans have grown unhappy with their homegrown player over his decision and expressed their frustration by erasing his face from a mural.
As such, there will likely be a lot of anger towards the 22-year-old attacker once he announces his decision to leave the Basque club and sign for Barcelona.
Once he signs for Barcelona, Nico is likely to take up the left flank in Hansi Flick’s team while his close friend Lamine Yamal will continue on the right.
The Spaniard’s arrival could prompt the Barcelona manager to move Raphinha into a central role as the No. 10 behind the main striker.
Meanwhile, Flick could also use Nico on the right wing to provide some rest for Lamine, who was barely rotated this season.
