Spain celebrated their second World Cup in Madrid, yet a playful parade moment stole the spotlight. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Lamine received a fan banner, then faced the camera and said "nos vemos".
At first the banner looked like a tribute to his younger brother Keyne, pictured with a saintly air. Keyne became one of the tournament’s most recognisable faces for fans.
When flipped, it read "Velada del Año VII: Paredes vs. Gavi", which had Lamine and Fabián Ruiz laughing on the bus. The line nodded to the post-match flare-up with Leandro Paredes, in which Gavi took the odd blow amid late tension.
They showed it to Gavi, who laughed at the supporters’ gag. Lamine asked the camera to come closer so the text could be read clearly. He then looked into the lens and delivered a crisp "nos vemos".
The clip is circulating widely and has become a symbol of the festivities. Beyond the formal stops, including Cibeles, the parade underlined a natural, close bond with supporters, turning the day into a social moment beyond sport.
