Las Palmas chief reveals how much Barcelona paid for Pedri | OneFootball

Las Palmas president Miguel Ángel Ramírez has this weekend provided an insight into the final figures behind Pedri’s departure from the club to join Barcelona.

Midfielder Pedri is of course set to face off with his former employers later tonight.

This comes with table-topping Barcelona having made the trip to Gran Canaria for a La Liga meeting with the aforementioned Las Palmas.

Pedri, for his part, will be expected to play a leading role once more, amid what has been a spectacular individual campaign to date.

Speaking during an interview with RAC1 (as cited by Diario Sport) this week, the name of his club’s one-time midfield gem was in turn put to Miguel Ángel Ramírez.

Specifically, Las Palmas’ president was asked about the final sum forked over by Barcelona for Pedri.

And Ramírez went on to explain:

“I think we are talking about an amount between 23 and 24 million euros, in that environment.”

It was also clarified that this amount came as a result of a series of add-ons and bonuses being triggered over the last few years.
