A Leeds United supporter is running one mile every day until the club wins five in a row.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Sarah Pratt, 48, from Pudsey, set the light-hearted challenge to back the team and lift the mood on social media after seeing The United Strand, a Manchester United fan who is growing his hair until his side win five in a row.

Pratt chose running over hair growth because she already enjoys it, and she often takes her springer dogs along. She records short videos about Leeds United during each mile and sometimes invites other supporters to join.

She has now run 273 consecutive days, including Christmas and New Year’s Day. The hardest part is consistency rather than distance, and she refuses to stop for rain. Messages from strangers online have helped her keep going.

Pratt says five in a row is really hard to achieve and she does not think her miles influence results, but she hopes the project brings fans together and encourages kinder discussion. A lifelong supporter who has followed Leeds across Europe, she shares updates at @LUFC_Adventures on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
