Leeds United host title favourites Arsenal on Saturday as their survival push meets its sternest test. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the predicted XI features a back three and Karl Darlow in goal, with Lukas Nmecha ruled out.
The sides meet for the second time this season after August’s 5-0 at the Emirates. Since then, Leeds have lost only one of their last 10 league games, drawing 1-1 at Everton on Monday.
At Goodison Park, Daniel Farke made two changes as Gabi Gudmundsson missed out with an adductor strain and Jaka Bijol remained sidelined. Sebastiaan Bornauw joined Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk, with James Justin and Jayden Bogle at full-back.
Anton Stach returned alongside Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev, with Brenden Aaronson supporting Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Nmecha reported hamstring trouble in the warm-up and is out for Arsenal, while Gudmundsson is doubtful and Bijol still absent. Dan James is back training but needs time.
Facundo Buonanotte is waiting for a first start and there is a midfield call after Ao Tanaka replaced Gruev, with the fit-again Sean Longstaff also an option. Farke must also choose between Darlow and Lucas Perri, though Darlow has looked steady since coming in.
Predicted picks include Bogle at right-back, Rodon, Bornauw and Struijk as centre-backs, and Justin at left wing-back if Gudmundsson is not ready.
