Leeds United’s window has started strongly with Harry Wilson and £34m defender Tarik Muharemovic signed, and attention fixed on a new number one. Karl Darlow has left as a free agent for Manchester United. A new deal was on the table at Elland Road but plans to recruit a goalkeeper meant no guarantee of the number one shirt.

Leeds are working on Trafford and continue to assess options. Lucas Perri’s future is uncertain amid interest from Serie A side Torino, and he is unlikely to depart before a first choice arrives.
