Leeds United v Brighton, final Elland Road game set for Sunday three pm on Sky Sports | OneFootball

Leeds United will host Brighton in their final Elland Road match of the Premier League season, scheduled for a Sunday kick-off.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the game takes place on Sunday, 17 May at three pm, moved from the usual Saturday slot to avoid a clash with the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday, 16 May.

Daniel Farke’s side will hope to have survival secured by then, aiming for a relaxed send-off in front of their home support.

Leeds were beaten 1-0 by Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday, so they have no other commitments that weekend.

As the match falls outside the Saturday blackout, it will be shown live on Sky Sports. It is one of four fixtures kicking off at the same time, none involving a relegation rival.

The penultimate round has been staggered, in part because Manchester City and Chelsea contest the FA Cup final on the Saturday. Nottingham Forest are set to travel to Manchester United on either Friday evening or Sunday lunchtime, depending on their Europa League progress. West Ham visit Newcastle on Sunday at five thirty pm.
