Leicester City supporter groups have issued a fresh statement opposing the club’s decision to keep BC.Game as front-of-shirt sponsor for 2026/27, saying they are dismayed.

According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, City have carried the gambling brand for the past two seasons under a two-year deal, and in 2024 the club called the partnership among the most valuable in its history.

Foxes Trust, Foxes Pride and Union FS had urged a rethink in October 2025. The new statement, from Foxes Trust and Union FS, references anti-gambling campaigner Annie Ashton, wife of Luke Ashton, who died in 2021, saying her words still resonate.

The groups argue the continuation would be prohibited in the Premier League and report widespread opposition among fans. In Foxes Trust’s End of Season Survey, 73% felt negative or very negative about the deal, including 56.2% who were very negative, while fewer than 5% felt positive.

They contend BC.Game is not licensed to operate in the UK and say questions over the brand’s ownership, history and customer treatment remain unanswered. They add that independent investigations have offered no reassurance.

The fans’ organisations say the club could have chosen a sponsor without regulatory risk or controversy this summer, and that supporters have been ignored. They urge fans to think carefully before buying shirts carrying BC.Game.
