Promising Leicester City centre-back Kevon Gray has signed a new three-year contract with the club.
LeicesterMercury.co.uk reports that Gray has been with City since he was eight and is considered one of their leading prospects.
The 19-year-old is yet to make his senior debut, but he has been on the bench five times this term, suggesting he is next in line if cover is needed.
At Under-21 level he has played 23 matches this season, captained the development squad on occasion and contributed two goals and three assists.
His stature makes him a dominant presence at the back and in the air, while he has also shown promise with his technical qualities.
City will hope his development continues over the coming years and that he can follow Ben Nelson by progressing from the youth ranks into the first team’s backline.
