Leonardo Jardim on Porto, Daniel Sales: “Loan and see… Flamengo won’t”

Leonardo Jardim spoke about FC Porto’s interest in Daniel Sales, Flamengo’s young right-back. After the Brazilians’ 2-1 win over Benfica this Saturday, in a friendly played in the Algarve, the Madeira-born coach, who manages Mengão, suggested that the Dragons’ intention is a loan deal.

“We have an academy with many players who attract interest, not just Sales. But the interest is to loan the player and see how he does, and Flamengo do not want that.
