Levante endured a disappointing derby, their mistakes punished and a 17-year-old full-back handed a top-flight debut.

Ryan had an uneventful first half, then Valencia’s first effort on target saw Ramazani score superbly. As reported by AS, Sadiq later struck again after Matías Moreno left him exposed.

Nacho Pérez (78′), from Turís and only 17, was Luís Castro’s main change with Toljan absent, stealing the ball from Razamani to early applause. Dela marshalled well then moved to right-back, while Moreno returned from concussion and clashed with Hugo Duro.

Manu Sánchez botched a key counter, aiming for the free man at the back post, and his form has dipped under Luís Castro. Kervin Arriaga, in for Ugo Raghouber at pivot, was more involved on the ball, then was sent off.

Pablo Martínez (78′) played too safely and, despite the deficit, made way for Vencedor after injury. Kareem Tunde threatened in behind and tested Gayà, but faded after the break, while Carlos Álvarez (69′) drew a Tárrega foul that Ortiz Arias left unpunished and still drifted.

Iker Losada (69′) tried to spark a break, then slowed play on his flank and looked due a change. Iván Romero (69′) saw a header beaten out by Dimitrievski, then missed high and wide with a lob, as Espí (69′) offered aerial threat without service, Etta Eyong (69′) toiled wide left, and Olasa (69′), the customary swap for Carlos Álvarez, barely featured.
