Jesse Lingard’s registration has been completed on the CBF’s Boletim Informativo Diário, leaving him eligible to make his Corinthians debut.

He is likely to be available to Dorival Júnior for the trip to Fluminense on 1 April at the Maracanã, in the ninth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, according to Globo.com.

He had been awaiting approval of his work visa before visiting the Federal Police, after which his BID registration was finalised on Thursday afternoon.

Lingard has been in full training at CT Joaquim Grava since the start of the month alongside the squad. He will wear the number 77 shirt.

A Manchester United academy graduate, he spent most of his career with the club. In England he also played for Birmingham City, Brighton, Derby County, West Ham and Nottingham Forest.

Across the past two seasons he featured for Seoul FC in South Korea, making 67 appearances, scoring 19 goals and providing 11 assists.
