Liverpool's busy January of signings continues with the announcement of new arrival Aurélie Csillag.

Gareth Taylor has brought in the likes of Alice Bergström, Martha Thomas, and Denise O'Sullivan who all scored in the FA Cup against London Bees on Sunday) as well as Anna Jøsendal and Jennifer Falk this month to ensure the club do not finish the season at the bottom of the WSL.

Those five new recruits have now been joined by Switzerland international Aurélie Csillag who joins the club after spending the first half of the season at Eintracht Frankfurt where she scored four goals in 14 games for the German side.

The 22-year-old described moving to the WSL as a 'dream': "When I was a little child, I always wanted to play in the Super League. And then when I heard from Liverpool, it was a nice city, a nice club, a lot of tradition and history, I didn't have any doubts to join this winter.

"The training centre is amazing. I've never seen a training centre in a women's club like this. I was very, very surprised and very happy that I could see this and join this."

The Reds reinforcements have arrived at the right time with Liverpool having a difficult run of four games starting with the visit of in-form Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday before fixtures against Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Chelsea.
