Liverpool were the subject of a verbal offer for Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola (23) during the summer transfer window, according to Sacha Tavolieri. The Reds were looking to recruit a new attacker during the summer and identified the France international forward as a potential target.
Eventually, the Premier League champions signed Alexander Isak and Hugo Ékitiké before the window closed. However, as they struggled to reach an agreement with Newcastle for the Sweden international’s signature, Barcola emerged as a potential target for the Merseyside outfit.
Despite the Anfield club submitting a verbal offer through an intermediary, they soon saw their advances for the former Lyon forward quickly rebuffed. PSG were quick to dismiss the possibility of selling the 23-year-old attacker and outright rejected the Premier League club’s offer.
