Liverpool have a chance to complete a dream agreement very soon. It's taken a giant step closer.

Liverpool simply must sign another winger this summer. It would be negligent not to after Mohamed Salah left the club.

On top of that, Liverpool were weak out wide all of last season. They offered very little dynamism after Luis Diaz joined Bayern Munich and we imagine they'd have prioritised a new winger this summer even if Salah stuck around.

But with the Egyptian leaving? It's imperative that Liverpool sign someone and sign someone good.

So here's an option we're crazy about: Ibrahim Mabye. The Senegalese teenager was one of two wingers under 18 to play 500 minutes across Europe's top five leagues last season.

The other was, as you might have guessed, Rio Ngumoha.

They also happen to play on opposite flanks, creating a natural partnership here that's simply too good to pass up. And now we've got the news we hoped to hear: he's set to leave Paris Saint-Germain.

That's according to Fabrizio Romano, who says it's now confirmed that the teenager is off. They just need to figure out where.

We're praying it's Liverpool, of course. Romano simply says that Premier League clubs are interested and we'd be absolutely shocked if the Reds aren't in that group.

Mbaye was a top 10 winger in Ligue 1 last season with his per 90 numbers, and no one else above him was under 20 when January 1st rolled around - let alone 17. He's a potential phenomenon and a complementary piece to Liverpool's Ngumoha plan.

The two of them could very well be the next Sadio Mané and Salah if Liverpool are willing to invest in it. We really hope they do because right now, there simply isn't a better option.
