According to Football Italia, Ademola Lookman was the priciest Serie A departure of the January 2026 window, joining Atletico Madrid from Atalanta for €35m, while Napoli could match that fee if Nottingham Forest make Lorenzo Lucca’s loan permanent.

The Italian window shut at 19.00 GMT on Monday, February 2. Lookman’s switch was the second most expensive deadline day move worldwide, excluding bonuses.

Lazio were among the busiest sellers, raising just shy of €60m during January.

Lucca was first bought outright by Napoli from Udinese, then loaned to Forest with an option to buy. Taken together, his transfers this month could exceed €60m.

The top permanent sales behind Lookman were Taty Castellanos to West Ham at €29m, Matteo Guendouzi to Fenerbahce at €28m, Lucca at €26m, and Tammy Abraham to Besiktas at €15m.

Notable loans with options included Noa Lang to Galatasaray with a €28m clause, Douglas Luiz to Aston Villa at €25m, Christos Mandas to AFC Bournemouth at €18.5m, Daniel Maldini to Lazio at €15.5m, and Marco Brescianini to Fiorentina at €10m.
