Luis Enrique to undergo collarbone surgery after cycling accident

Luis Enrique, 55 years old, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, was the victim of a bicycle accident this Friday. Suffering from a clavicle injury, he will undergo surgery, as confirmed by the Parisian club in an official statement. PSG has expressed its support for its coach and announced that further information will be provided soon.

Luis Enrique is an avid cyclist. His injury is a non-event; these things happen. He will undergo surgery and will therefore need rehabilitation. He knows his body, he knows that a little patience will be required, but for PSG this seems more like a stroke of bad luck during a tough period (injuries to Dembélé and Doué) rather than a major problem. We wish him a speedy recovery. This should not have a major impact on the Parisian club, which will see its coach continue to fulfill his role despite his injury.
